Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You have a headache that started after a spinal tap or epidural and has lasted more than 24 hours despite simple treatments.
- You do not have an active infection, bleeding disorder, or spinal surgery history that would prevent a blood patch.
- You do not have nasal polyps, a deviated septum, or a current sinus infection that would block the nasal spray.
- You are not allergic to lidocaine or similar numbing medicines.
