Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older and have had a hip or knee replacement surgery.
  • You do not have any diagnosed mental health or sleep problems, epilepsy, or depression.
  • You do not have long-lasting (chronic) pain, and you are not currently experiencing nausea or vomiting before trying the relaxation techniques.
  • You can see, hear, and speak without problems, and you speak Turkish.
  • You have a mobile phone or tablet that can play videos, and you are willing to do the relaxation activities.
  • You have not practiced breathing exercises before (this is your first time).
