Feasibility and safety of ultrasound-guided partial spleen embolization

Who can take part

  • You must be between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You must have cirrhosis (scarring of the liver).
  • You must have had bleeding in your stomach or esophagus from swollen veins (varices).
  • You must have a low platelet count (below 100,000).
  • You cannot have other serious liver problems or active infections.
