Who can take part
- You are 18 or older.
- You have advanced prostate, breast, pancreatic, or non-small cell lung cancer that has spread or come back after standard treatment.
- You are taking an opioid pain medicine averaging at least 5 mg of morphine equivalent per day over the last 3 days.
- You have not had cancer treatment in the last 2 weeks and are willing to pause next treatment for about 6 weeks to see the effect on your cancer.
- You have not had major bowel surgery, active bowel problems, or untreated brain metastases.
- You can take oral medicines and are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and you agree to use effective birth control if needed.
