Ligamentum Teres for hip dysplasia treatment

Who can take part

  • Your child has developmental hip dysplasia that has not been treated before (virgin DDH).
  • A closed reduction (moving the hip into place without cutting) did not fix the problem.
  • An open reduction through a medial (groin) approach also failed to fix the hip.
  • Your child has not had a hip surgery through an incision on the front of the hip (anterior approach).
  • Your child is under 5 years old.
