Who can take part

  • You must be 50 years old or older.
  • You have type 2 diabetes (not type 1).
  • You have been taking either an SGLT2 inhibitor or a GLP-1 analog for at least one year.
  • You are not taking mealtime (prandial) insulin.
  • You do not have a condition like rheumatoid arthritis, an autoimmune disease, or use certain medications like corticosteroids or TNF blockers.
