Who can take part

  • You have fibromyalgia (as defined by widespread pain for at least 3 months).
  • You have tried at least 2 medications (like pregabalin, duloxetine, or milnacipran) and they didn't work well enough.
  • You have tried at least 1 form of physical therapy (such as exercise, water therapy, or massage) for your fibromyalgia.
  • Your average pain over the past week is at least a 4 out of 10 (on a 0-10 scale) at the start of the study.
  • You are willing to avoid starting new treatments during the study and to keep your current treatments stable for at least a month before starting.
  • You have no history of bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or active severe mental health conditions that are unstable.
