Who can take part
- You have stage 3 non-small cell lung cancer that cannot be removed with surgery
- You have completed at least 2 rounds of chemotherapy with radiation (at least 54 Gy) and your cancer did not get worse
- Your daily activities are not limited (ECOG score 0 or 1, meaning you can do most things)
- If your cancer is non-squamous, you do not have an EGFR or ALK gene mutation
- You do not have an active autoimmune disease or serious heart, lung, or bleeding problems
- You have not had any other anti-cancer treatment for your stage 3 disease besides chemotherapy and radiation
