Who can take part

  • You have had a prior heart ablation for atrial flutter within the last 5 years but your flutter came back.
  • You are between 18 and 79 years old.
  • You are able to take blood thinners (anticoagulation) for at least 4 weeks before the procedure.
  • You do not have reversible causes like thyroid issues, recent heart attack or surgery, blood clots, or stroke in the last 3 months.
  • Your heart's left atrium is not severely enlarged (less than 5.5 cm in diameter).
