- You have a type of aortic disease (a big blood vessel in your chest or belly) that needs treatment.
- You are getting a minimally invasive procedure to fix the aorta through a small cut in your groin (femoral artery).
- Your aortic disease is not caused by an infection or a traumatic injury.
- You do not have any major health problems that are not well controlled (like severe heart, lung, or liver disease, advanced cancer, or a bleeding disorder).
- You have not had a stroke, heart attack, or serious bleeding in the last 6 months, and you are at least 18 years old.
- You have not had a similar procedure on your aorta before for a different reason.
