Who can take part

  • You are 18 or older and have been diagnosed with Crohn's, ulcerative colitis, or IBD-unclassified (confirmed by endoscopy and biopsy).
  • Your anemia is causing symptoms like fatigue, shortness of breath, or dizziness, and your hemoglobin is between 7 and 12 g/dL (women) or 7 and 13 g/dL (men).
  • You have mild active IBD (not moderate or severe) and your ferritin level is at least 75 μg/L.
  • You have not had IV iron, a blood transfusion, or an erythropoiesis-stimulating agent in the last 30 days, and you are not currently taking a JAK inhibitor.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and you agree to use effective contraception if applicable.
