Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You must have one of the specific advanced cancers listed: a certain type of breast cancer (HR+/HER2-), kidney cancer, liver cancer, neuroendocrine tumors, or TSC-related tumors.
  • You must have tried at least one prior standard treatment that did not work or caused side effects, unless no standard treatment exists.
  • You must be taking a stable dose of metformin or a statin medication.
  • You must be able to perform daily activities with some help (ECOG score of 0, 1, or 2).
  • You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding, and must use effective birth control during and for a period after the study.
