Who can take part
- You are 30 years old or older.
- You have a single thyroid nodule that a biopsy found to be a 'follicular neoplasm' or 'suspicious for follicular neoplasm' (Bethesda category IV).
- The nodule is smaller than 2 centimeters (about 0.8 inches) in every direction.
- Your thyroid ultrasound shows the nodule is low or intermediate risk (EU-TIRADS 3 or 4).
- You do not have signs that the nodule may have spread (such as suspicious lymph nodes, irregular shape, or growth outside the thyroid).
- You have not had thyroid surgery before, do not have high calcium, are not pregnant, and can give consent.
