Who can take part
- You are 1 year or older and considered healthy enough to participate.
- Your leukemia cells show a specific marker called CD19 (at least 20% of the cells).
- You have relapsed or refractory disease, meaning it has come back or hasn't responded to at least 2 lines of chemotherapy. If you have a certain type of leukemia (Philadelphia-positive), you must have had a specific targeted drug (TKI) as part of your treatment.
- If you had a stem cell transplant, it was at least 100 days ago, you have no active graft-versus-host disease, and you haven't taken immunosuppressive drugs for at least 30 days.
- You are expected to live more than 12 weeks and have a performance status of 60 or higher (a measure of how well you can do daily activities).
- If leukemia is in your brain or testicles, it must also be in the blood or bone marrow.
- You must not have severe lung, heart, kidney, or liver problems, active infections like hepatitis B or C or HIV, or other cancers within the last 3 years. Pregnant or breastfeeding women can't join.
