Who can take part
- You are 18 years old or older.
- You have end-stage kidney disease and receive hemodialysis three times per week.
- You have been using your arteriovenous fistula (AVF) for dialysis for at least the past 3 months.
- You have good veins in at least one leg that can be used for a new return needle.
- You are willing to either try a new single-needle return method or continue your usual two-needle method.
- You do not have any active infections, bleeding problems, or severe health issues that would make the new method unsafe.
