Who can take part

  • You must be between 16 and 55 years old.
  • You must have a type of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) or MDS that is considered high-risk.
  • Your cancer must have genetic features like a TP53 mutation or certain chromosome changes.
  • A suitable cord blood unit must be available for transplant.
  • Your heart, lungs, kidneys, and liver must work well enough for transplant.
  • You must be willing to use effective contraception during and for 12 months after treatment.
