Who can take part

  • You must be 21 years old or younger at the time you agree to join the study.
  • You must not have a suitably matched related or unrelated donor available in the required time window.
  • You have one of these specific conditions: certain high-risk AML or ALL, some other acute leukemias, certain MDS/MPD (not myelofibrosis), high-risk lymphoma, or listed inherited metabolic or non-malignant disorders.
  • Your cancer/illness status must fit the trial’s timing category (for example, CR1/CR2, relapse/refractory with low blast counts, or specific MRD status).
  • You must be well enough to tolerate transplant: activity score at least 70% and blood/organ tests within limits (liver, lung, heart, kidney).
  • You must be eligible for cord blood donation matching: the cord blood unit must meet the HLA match and cell dose requirements.
