Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 40 years old.
- You have been diagnosed with keratoconus and your stage is I to III (mild to moderate).
- Your thinnest part of the cornea is at least 450 micrometers thick.
- If you are 18-25, progression is not required. If 25-35, you need signs your condition has worsened (like vision changes or a family history). If 35-40, you must have clear recent progression.
- You cannot have central scars or cloudiness on your cornea, or have had previous eye surgery or injury (except LASIK that caused keratoconus).
- You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or have autoimmune disease or uncontrolled diabetes.
