Who can take part
- You are a woman between 18 and 65 years old.
- You need open surgery for a non-cancerous (benign) or borderline pelvic or abdominal mass.
- Your mass is about 15 to 30 centimeters in size (roughly the size of a small melon).
- You do not have cancer that requires removing parts of the liver, spleen, or diaphragm.
- You have not had a previous complex belly wall surgery with a mesh.
