Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • Your heart team has agreed that you need a high-risk angioplasty (with or without heart pump support).
  • You are stable enough for the procedure (not in cardiogenic shock).
  • Your heart's pumping strength is very low (less than 30%, or less than 35% with moderate valve leakage, or less than 40% with severe valve leakage).
  • You have a complex blockage in the left main coronary artery or an equivalent serious blockage.
