Who can take part

  • Age between 18 and 90 years old
  • Have a weak heart (ejection fraction 35% or less, or 40% or less with heart failure symptoms like severe shortness of breath)
  • Need stenting for a complex blockage, such as a completely blocked artery (CTO) or left main artery disease, or three-vessel disease with additional challenges
  • Have not had a major heart attack in the last 7 days or been on a heart pump recently
  • Are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and have no severe bleeding, kidney failure, or allergies to blood thinners
