Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have been diagnosed with coronary artery disease and your heart's pumping strength is less than 35%.
  • Your doctor thinks you might benefit from a procedure to open blocked arteries (PCI).
  • You have significant blockages in at least two major heart arteries or the left main artery, or blockages in three arteries with complex features.
  • You have not needed a heart pump or CPR in the hospital before this procedure.
  • You have not had a heart attack in the last 7 days or recent clot-busting treatment.
