Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with postprandial hypotension (low blood pressure after eating) and have symptoms like dizziness or lightheadedness.
  • You are a healthy volunteer willing to be matched by age, gender, and body size.
  • You can pause your medications for 12 hours before the study (only if you are in the PPH group).
  • You do not have any metal implants (like pacemakers or metal clips) that are unsafe for MRI.
  • You have no other diseases that could affect blood flow to your gut, and you drink less than 14 alcoholic drinks per week.
