Comparing a new approach to usual care for lateral elbow pain

This trial tests if a new way of thinking about the nerves and layers in your arm (called TINLL) works better than usual therapy for people with pain on the outside of their elbow. It may help you get better faster.

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older and understand English.
  • You have been referred for pain on the outside of your elbow (lateral epicondylitis).
  • You have at least one of these: tenderness when pressing the outer elbow, pain when stretching your wrist, or pain when lifting your wrist or middle finger against resistance.
  • You have not had carpal tunnel or inner elbow pain, and are not scheduled for elbow surgery.
  • You have not received platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections or a needle procedure in your elbow.
