Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You have been diagnosed with adenocarcinoma of the stomach or the junction of the stomach and esophagus.
- Your cancer has spread or cannot be surgically removed, and you have not had any previous treatment for this stage of cancer.
- You must be willing to provide a tumor sample for testing a protein called CLDN18.2 (a positive result is needed).
- Your tumor must be negative for a protein called HER2 (determined by a previous lab test).
- Good overall health: able to walk and care for yourself (ECOG score 0 or 1), and have adequate organ function (kidney, liver, heart, blood cells).
