Who can take part

  • You are a woman aged 20 or older having a C-section with spinal anesthesia.
  • You have asked for medicine to help you relax during the procedure.
  • You do not have hearing problems or use hearing aids.
  • You have not taken any painkillers or sedatives in the last week.
  • You are not allergic to benzodiazepines (a type of sedative).
  • You do not have serious heart, lung, liver, or kidney conditions, or other major health issues.
