Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You have a retinal detachment that happened on its own (not caused by injury, infection, or other eye disease).
- Your eye has a natural separation of the vitreous gel from the retina (called posterior vitreous detachment or PVD).
- Your retinal detachment does not have advanced scar tissue (PVR).
- Your eye lens is either natural (phakic) or has had cataract surgery (pseudophakic).
