Who can take part

  • You are 18 years old or older.
  • You have been diagnosed with invasive breast cancer (cancer that has spread from the milk ducts or lobules into surrounding breast tissue).
  • Your tumor size is T1, T2, or T3 (not the largest or most advanced stage).
  • You have 0 to 3 lymph nodes under your arm that contain cancer cells.
  • Your cancer is estrogen receptor-positive (ER+), meaning it uses the hormone estrogen to grow.
  • Your cancer is HER2-negative, meaning it does not have too much of the HER2 protein.
  • You have not had chemotherapy before your surgery.
  • You have no other cancer in the last 5 years, except for a common skin cancer that was removed.
