Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 80 years old.
- You have atrial fibrillation (irregular heartbeat) that causes symptoms, and you are scheduled for your first catheter ablation.
- You have a body mass index (BMI) of 30 or higher, or a BMI of 28 or higher plus a weight-related health condition like high blood pressure.
- You have not taken semaglutide or similar drugs before.
- You do not have diabetes, a history of pancreatitis, or certain thyroid or kidney conditions.
