Short course MRI-guided radiation for prostate cancer

Prostate Cancer (Adenocarcinoma)

Who can take part

  • You are a man aged 18 or older.
  • You have prostate cancer that is low or intermediate risk (Gleason score 3+3, 3+4, or 4+3).
  • Your tumor is visible on an MRI scan done within the past 3 months and is smaller than 2.5 cm.
  • Your PSA level was under 20 ng/mL before starting hormone therapy (if you had any).
  • You can have an MRI scan without any metal implants or claustrophobia issues.
  • You have not had radiation to the pelvic area before.
