Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 65 years old.
- You are scheduled for a laparoscopic surgery where you'll be positioned head-down (Trendelenburg position) with a breathing tube.
- You do not have any recent lung infections or chronic lung disease like COPD.
- You have not had any surgery on your esophagus and do not have problems with your esophagus.
- You do not have severe heart problems, uncontrolled diabetes or high blood pressure, or conditions like high pressure in the brain.
