Who can take part
- You have a full-thickness rotator cuff tear that is at least 1 cm (about the size of a pea).
- You are between 50 and 70 years old.
- The biceps tendon (front of shoulder) is also damaged and will be treated during the same surgery.
- You do not have a tear that is too large to repair, inflammatory arthritis, thyroid disease, shoulder arthritis, nerve damage in the armpit, or a previous surgery on this shoulder.
