Who can take part

  • Pain on the outside of your hip that's been confirmed by a doctor using an exam or imaging
  • Your hip pain has lasted for at least 3 months and hasn't gotten better with treatments like physical therapy or anti-inflammatory medicine
  • You are willing to get either an artery-blocking procedure or a platelet-rich plasma shot
  • You can come back for checkups at 1, 3, 6, and 12 months after treatment
