Who can take part

  • You must have severe nearsightedness (over -6.0 diopters) or a very long eyeball (over 26.5 mm).
  • You must have myopic changes in your macula (the central part of your retina).
  • You must have an active, treatment-naïve CNV (new, untreated abnormal blood vessels in your eye).
  • You must have had a full eye exam including special scans (OCT, OCTA, and dye test).
  • You must not have CNV caused by other conditions like age-related macular degeneration or certain other eye diseases.
  • Your OCTA images must be clear and free of artifacts for analysis.
