- You are 18 or older
- This is your first rotator cuff surgery, done at Peking University Third Hospital
- Your tear was less than 3 cm wide, confirmed by imaging
- You have a smartphone or tablet with internet
- You can attend all study visits and follow-ups within 6 months of leaving the hospital
- You have no serious health conditions that would interfere with your recovery
