Who can take part

  • You are 18 or older.
  • You are having your first rotator cuff repair surgery with one of four specific doctors at NYU.
  • You plan to do your physical therapy after surgery at a NYU physical therapy location.
  • You have home internet and a wireless cell phone that works with the Band Connect App.
  • You are not pregnant, don't have a workers' comp claim or lawsuit about your shoulder, and are able to give informed consent.
