Who can take part
- You are between 40 and 75 years old.
- You live in a participating village in rural China and plan to stay for 3 years.
- You are not currently in another clinical trial.
- You have one of these health conditions: high cholesterol, diabetes, chronic kidney disease (stage 3-4), or high blood pressure with certain risk factors.
- You are able to have a CT scan of your heart (no severe allergies to CT dye, no claustrophobia, can hold your breath).
- You do not have known heart disease, prior stroke, active bleeding, or cancer.
