Who can take part
- You must have a type of throat cancer called squamous cell carcinoma that has not been treated yet.
- Your cancer must be stage 3 or 4, meaning it has spread to nearby lymph nodes or tissues but not to distant parts of your body.
- Your cancer must be able to be removed by surgery.
- You must be in fairly good health overall (ECOG performance status 0-2).
- You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding, and must use highly effective birth control during the study and for 1 year after the last dose.
- Your blood counts and liver/kidney function must be within a certain healthy range (hemoglobin, white blood cells, platelets, bilirubin, AST, ALT, creatinine).
