Who can take part

  • You had a stroke at least 3 months ago that affected only one side of your body.
  • You are between 20 and 85 years old.
  • You have some arm movement but not full use, as determined by a special arm test performed by the study team.
  • You can follow instructions and have no major thinking or memory problems.
  • You are not taking part in other stroke rehabilitation studies or drug trials.
  • You do not have severe arm pain, swelling, tightness, or stiffness that prevents practice.
