Who can take part

  • You’ve had a stroke on one side of the body (unilateral stroke)
  • You are between 20 and 80 years old
  • You can understand and follow instructions for the sessions
  • Your arm movement score at the start is between 20 and 60 (Fugl-Meyer Upper Extremity)
  • Your stroke was more than 6 months ago (for the later phase of the trial)
  • You do not have severe neglect or major problems that affect arm use, pain, vision, or hearing
