  • You are between 20 and 70 years old
  • Your ataxia is primary (not caused by a stroke, medication, or other illness)
  • You have had a CT scan and MRI of your brain showing it's safe for the surgery
  • You can give your own permission to be in the study
  • You are able to attend all study visits and follow instructions over one year
