Who can take part
- Your child has progressive early onset scoliosis (this can be congenital, idiopathic, neuromuscular, or syndromic).
- The main curve of the spine (called Cobb angle) is 40 degrees or more.
- Your child is under 10 years old, or their bone maturity score (Risser grade) is less than 2.
- Your child has not had any prior surgery for scoliosis.
- No active infections or serious health problems that would make surgery unsafe.
