Who can take part
- You have a confirmed infection (lung or bloodstream) caused by a type of bacteria called Acinetobacter that is resistant to many antibiotics.
- You are between 18 and 82 years old.
- You can have a central line or PICC line placed for IV medications.
- You do not have severe kidney disease or need dialysis.
- You do not have a very low white blood cell count (neutropenia).
