Orthobiologics for muscle, bone, and joint problems
Treatments studied
Part of Bones, joints & muscles clinical trials.
This study tests treatments using your body's own healing cells or proteins (called orthobiologics) for muscle, bone, and joint problems. It collects information through digital questionnaires on WhatsApp to see how these treatments work in real life.
Summary written for real people, not researchers, by Clin2.
Who can take part
- You are 18 or older
- You have a muscle, bone, or joint condition that doctors typically treat with orthobiologics (like platelet-rich plasma or stem cells)
- You have regular access to WhatsApp to communicate with the study team
- You have not had orthobiologic treatment in the same body area in the last 3 months
- You do not have any medical reason that would make orthobiologics unsafe (such as an active infection, blood disorder, or active cancer)
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding

This study tests a treatment made from your own body's healing components to reduce knee pain. It may help people with mild to moderate knee osteoarthritis who haven't had knee surgery or strong pain relievers lately.
This trial follows people who receive “regenerative medicine” treatments (orthobiologics) for joint or tendon problems, like osteoarthritis or tendon pain. The goal is to study whether clinical check-ins and lab/biologic measurements can help monitor how patients are doing after treatment.
This trial tests a joint treatment made from your own platelets (platelet-rich plasma, or PRP) combined with other biologic material (from fat tissue and/or bone marrow) to help osteoarthritis symptoms. It may be an option if you have early-to-moderate osteoarthritis in a major joint and meet safety requirements.
This trial compares different knee injections made from your own bone marrow and/or fat, plus platelet-rich plasma (a blood-derived healing factor), against saline (placebo) to treat painful knee osteoarthritis. It aims to see whether these “autologous” injections reduce knee pain and improve function.
This trial tests a regenerative therapy made from a patient’s own fat tissue (a “cellular” treatment) to reduce pain and improve function in arthritis-related problems. It may help people with inflammatory or degenerative arthritis changes, if they meet safety and tissue-donation requirements.
This trial tests an “autologous” regenerative cell treatment, meaning cells taken from you, to reduce hip osteoarthritis pain and inflammation. It checks safety first and looks for improvements in how you feel and move.
