Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • Your liver cancer should be inoperable and at an intermediate stage (called BCLC stage B).
  • You need to have at least one liver tumor that is 5 cm or bigger on a scan.
  • Your liver function must be good (not Child-Pugh class C) and you must not have cancer spread outside the liver.
  • You need to be able to do most daily activities on your own (ECOG 0–2).
