TheraSphere for liver cancer before market in Japan

Who can take part

  • You are 18 or older
  • You have liver cancer that is primary (started in the liver) or secondary (spread from elsewhere), as shown by a scan or biopsy
  • Standard treatments have failed or you are not eligible for them, as decided by a team of doctors
  • Your cancer is mostly in the liver, and you are expected to live at least 3 more months
  • You are in good enough health to be up and around (able to care for yourself), with a score of 0 or 1 on a standard scale
