Who can take part
- You have AML that either came back after treatment, didn't respond to treatment, or is a high-risk type not yet treated.
- You are between 18 and 90 years old.
- Your overall health status is fair to good (ECOG score of 0-3 for ages 18-74, or 0-2 for ages 75 and older).
- Your liver and kidney function are adequate, based on blood tests.
- You agree to use effective birth control if you or your partner could become pregnant, and for a period after treatment.
- You can swallow pills and do not have a condition that would affect drug absorption.
