Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 70 years old
- You have type 2 diabetes
- If newly diagnosed (within 90 days), your HbA1c is between 8.0% and 11.0%
- If already on one diabetes pill for at least 60 days, your HbA1c is between 7.0% and 11.0%
- Your body mass index (BMI) is above 19 and not over 40
- You do not have serious kidney problems or other major health issues (e.g., recent heart attack, stroke, pancreatitis)
