Who can take part

  • You have multiple liver tumors that have spread from another part of your body.
  • Your doctor has already decided that radioembolization (Y-90) is a good treatment option for you.
  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You are generally able to take care of yourself (up and about at least half of the day).
  • You are willing to give written consent to participate.
  • You have at least two areas in the liver that can be treated with the study device, and each area has at least one measurable tumor.
  • Your liver blood vessels are suitable for the study's special catheter.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You have not had a previous blockage procedure (embolization) in the liver area to be treated.
  • The expected radiation dose to your lungs is within safe limits.

Radioembolization for previously treated liver cancer
