Who can take part

  • You must be able to sit up by yourself or with a little help for at least 1 minute.
  • You or a family member must be able to sign a consent form agreeing to the study.
  • You must not have a condition like ALS, muscular dystrophy, or other nerve/muscle disease.
  • You must not have broken leg bones, open sores, or a blood clot in your leg.
  • You must not have a very serious heart problem or extremely high blood pressure.
